Aluminum Cap Sealing Machine – Introduction

An aluminum cap sealing machine is a packaging device that permanently seals aluminum caps (such as aluminum tamper-evident caps, crown caps, and aluminum tear-off foil caps) onto containers through a rolling or crimping process. Rather than relying on threads, the machine uses mechanical force to plastically deform the edge of the aluminum cap, creating a tight interlock with the bottle neck's retaining ring or bead to form a reliable seal.

Working Principle:

The aluminum cap is placed onto the container neck. The sealing head, equipped with multiple rolling wheels or crimping tools, moves downward and rotates at a controlled speed. The rolling wheels gradually press the edge of the aluminum cap inward, bending it around the retaining ring or groove beneath the bottle neck, thereby completing the sealing operation. For certain aluminum foil caps, the machine may also apply peripheral heat sealing or cold crimping.

• Secure seal: After rolling, the aluminum cap forms a mechanical interlock with the bottle neck. Once opened, the cap cannot be easily restored, providing a tamper-evident function.

• Compatibility with various bottle neck types: Can handle glass or metal containers with retaining rings, beads, or special sealing grooves.

• Adjustable sealing effect: Rolling wheel pressure, downward depth, and rotation speed can be adjusted to control seal tightness.

• Relatively compact design: Compared to integrated filling-and-sealing systems, a stand-alone sealing machine has a smaller footprint and can be placed conveniently in a production line.
