◉ PRODUCT SPECIFICATION

Elevator-Type Friction Capping Machine – Introduction

An elevator-type friction capping machine is a packaging device used to automatically deliver and tighten caps onto containers. The machine consists of two coordinated parts: an elevator hopper and a friction capping unit. The elevator hopper sorts and orientates bulk caps, then delivers them to the capping position. The friction capping unit uses belts or rollers to contact the side of the cap, applying friction to rotate the cap and tighten it onto the container neck.

Key Features:

  • Integrated cap feeding and tightening: The elevator hopper holds a relatively large quantity of caps at one time, reducing the need for frequent manual cap loading.

  • Adaptability to various caps: The machine offers some tolerance for differences in cap size and shape. It can work with certain cap types such as ribbed caps, tamper-evident caps, and snap-on caps.

  • Adjustable tightening force: The friction pressure or rotation speed can be adjusted to meet different container sealing requirements.

  • Relatively simple construction: Compared to fully automatic sorting-and-capping systems, this machine is generally easier to maintain and adjust.

Typical Applications:

  • Large-mouth containers such as cooking oil bottles, grease pails, and chemical drums

  • Scenarios requiring a screw-on (rather than press-on) closure

  • Production lines with moderate capping speed requirements and where minor cap surface wear is not a primary concern

For the following products, 8.8 refers to the hardness grade of the product model. The steel materials include: galvanized (yellow, white, blackened), and Dacromet for anti-corrosion; the stainless steel materials include: 304, 201, etc. For specific products, please feel free to inquire.
