Vacuum Capping Machine – Introduction

A vacuum capping machine is a packaging device that removes air from the container headspace before or during the capping process. Its primary function is to create a negative pressure environment inside the container, followed by tightening the cap to maintain product quality and extend shelf life.

Working Principle:

The machine typically places the container into a sealed chamber. A vacuum pump removes air from the chamber and the container headspace (alternatively, a needle-type vacuum system may extract air directly through the capping head). When the preset vacuum level is reached, the capping mechanism tightens the cap. The vacuum is then released, and the container is removed.

  • Improved product preservation: Reducing oxygen levels inside the container helps slow oxidation, which is suitable for oxygen-sensitive products.
